Just got back and what a fuggin game tonight.  Frank balled out and Lamb was the difference be honest.  Would be amazing to sneak in the playoffs.  Lots of good stuff tonight.  Man, Batum looks even slower in person.  God he sucks, oh well go bugs!

The Heat have lost...

The next important set of games is Sunday.

- The Hornets HAVE to beat Detroit

- Orlando HAS to lose to Boston

- The Heat need (but don't have to) lose to the Raptors

If one of the two top stipulations doesn't occur we will be eliminated (Detroit isn't losing out to Memphis and New York).

Detroit could loose out, the nets could as well.

I don't think it's favorable for Detroit to lose out and the Nets and Heat play each other in the last game so I feel like one of them will make it.

I guess theoretically Miami could lose their next two then beat the Nets and as long as the Nets lost to both the Celtics and Pacers the Hornets would advance if they won out because they hold both tiebreakers.

I'm hoping we win out and Orlando loses their next two while Miami loses one more.

Pretty sure we have tie breakers on everyone in the chase...dunno bout Nets though.  Pretty much agree we have to win 3 games and then see what happens.

We should hold on to Frank.  He played a very nice game tonight and played a lot of mins.  Would love to keep Lamb too he balls.

If only they played with this kind of a sense of urgency every game -- very nice win tonight.

Find it odd there's not more carping about Borrego.  Last year Clifford was the devil but this year Borrego stuck with Batum and kept other guys out of the lineup (like Frank) who have proven to make a BIG difference down the stretch --- yet not no whinging about Borrego and his "rotations".

The race to the 8th spot is with the Heat and Nets....Magic are a virtual lock (with the imprudently deposed Coach Cliff at the helm).

The Heat and Nets play each other so one of them will win that game which means that they’d have to lose the rest of their games in order for us to jump them (which might be possible).

Orlando only has two games left, Boston and us.

If Orlando loses to Boston we would essentially control our own destiny by just needing to win out (and have Miami lose one more game).

If you play it out based on the standings while also putting a W next to all of our games it would look like this:

6. Detroit (41-41): L vs. Charlotte, W vs. Memphis, W vs. New York

7. Charlotte (40-42): W @ Detroit, W @ Cleveland, W vs. Orlando

8. Brooklyn: (40-42): L @ Milwaukee, L @ Indiana, W vs. Miami

9. Orlando (40-42): L @ Boston, L @ Charlotte

10. Miami (38-44): L @ Toronto, L vs. Philadelphia, L @ Brooklyn

The 7th seed would get us Toronto who we are 2-1 against this year. Obviously all is for naught if we don’t run the table.
