Gunslinger or Game Manager?

Game manager= Payton Manning

Peyton is much more than a game manager. I don't know if you've watched him this decade, but I'd say the kind of guy that can win a game on less than 15min of possession is pretty damn handy with the football.

I think for the first while Jake was a gunslinger.

To me, a gunslinger is a guy who has enough talent to make difficult throws, but very often pushes the limits too far. Guys who think they can make every throw, even after they have failed to make it once or twice in a game.

A game manager is someone who understands that they are likely not among the elite in the NFL, as far as skill set, but they pride themselves on making good decisions and giving their team a chance to win.

Now with that being said, I think Jake more falls into the category of Gunslinger. A poor man's Gunslinger I guess.

No he is a Game Manager. He never throws into double coverage and rarely make a bad read. Thus Game Manager. Its not a bad thing like your thinking.

He is in no way a Gunslinger that is for sure.
