It was. Pretty sure it was on ABC. I know Travolta got a lot of buzz from Welcome Back Kotter around that time. Those were the years of Scott Baio starring on "Afterschool Specials" as well.

And talk about nostalgia. ESPN Classic trotted out a bunch of the old "Battle of the Network Stars" shows a while back. I remembered most of the actors on there but there were one or two whom I had no idea who they were 

I guess we'll see "Circus of the Stars" reruns too at some point.
