I wonder what our draft position would be if we lose out

Right now we're 20th. The Falcons is 9th and the Bucs is 13th. We're 7-11 draft picks behind them despite being just as bad. You're division comes first, you have to analyze what other teams in your division is doing. I believe, looking ahead, ATL is going to try to give us that game and I mean why not? The Browns is 11th right now, if we lose to them should we really be drafting so many picks behind? Right now looking at our roster and next year, I think we need to hit in the draft and FA spending. IF we win out and win out in convincing fashion then I'll be like okay. Besides that, I just think the Panthers are screwing themselves in the draft

Jeez is this a suck for luck year?

at 6 wins and picking 16th, the best we will get losing out will be 8th and that’s several teams winning 1-2 more and us losing out.

if that’s the focus I’m done until the playoffs where I can root for all teams not the Saints,..

catch you MFers in January where I’ll be hungry for new GM and/or coach news,..

    • Taking only players from the sheet that are realistically available in or after the listed round, I’d like… 1st: DT Caleb Banks (Styles not realistic) 2nd: LB Jacob Rodriguez 3rd: OT Best available from Bowry, Barber, and Casey 4th: CB Daylen Everette 5th: S Jalen Huskey 6th: RB Adam Randall 7th: IOL Best available from Lemieux, Dawkins, Leausa, and Brose   I know nothing about some of the players listed, but it seems like that would be the best way it could fall for now. I’m sure the list of who we meet will change a ton, and there will also be players we don’t meet with to keep quiet. I’d love to pick up Randall in the late rounds.
    • Not what I said. They know within the building why we aren't utilizing TEs more. If the rumors were true that we were seriously pursuing a couple of decent receiving TEs that strongly points toward a lack of quality receiving TEs currently on the roster. Does that mean we consider drafting one at 19? I don't know, but it wouldn't shock me and if we did there's only one guy it would be. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see TE drafting somewhere in the first three rounds.
    • Yeah, I don’t know. Tepper was behind the Bryce selection. Behind firings and hiring over his lack of development.  He doesn’t have to literally tell them their hands are tied for them to know this. It is in the air constantly. The Canales Bryce play calling was even portrayed by more than one person as Canales failing Bryce, instead of Bryce being responsible for his own performance (except when he does well, then it is all him). Now they have an extra coach in, to help the new OC get results from this QB.  The atmosphere is not welcoming to prototypical young QBs that have talent. You get Jake Plummer types or old vets. I think we are stuck.
