Cody Ford, OT, Oklahoma Sooners

An ultra-physical behemoth who can move big boys up front or counter speed rushers with quick footwork, Ford is still developing at tackle, but his ceiling is sky-high. The Panthers need help all over the offensive line, so plugging him in at guard could be an option as well.

Jachai Polite, EDGE, Florida. Carolina ranks 23rd in getting after the quarterback, according to Football Outsiders. And Polite, who had a breakout season at Florida, has and explosive first step and off-the-chart physical abilities. His knack for getting in the backfield was unrivaled at times this fall.

14. Carolina: Dexter Lawrence, DT, Clemson 
Lawrence is primarily an early-down run-stuffer, but he has a rare combination of size and athleticism and has flashed upside in the pass-rush. His gargantuan body type is really hard to find (6' 4", 350 lbs.) which makes him an intriguing pick for Carolina’s defense.

14. Carolina Panthers: Clelin Ferrell, DE, Clemson

Julius Peppers’ hall of fame career is just about at an end, and the Panthers can find a new edge rusher in the first round. Ferrell had another outstanding season with 17 tackles for loss and 10.5 sacks and would give Carolina a dependable end who does everything well.

Pass rush is at a premium in the NFL and the Panthers could use an upgrade. Julius Peppers is one of the all-time greats but he is in the twilight of his career. Sweat has been productive at Mississippi State and is one of the most impressive college defensive ends by showing the ability to win with burst, length and power. Sweat would be in the perfect position to fill in the role that was played by one of the league’s best.

If you've paid attention to the Panthers at all, you know that they're sorely lacking in talent at cornerback. They can pair their one LSU cornerback with another in an effort to make a big improvement in that area. 

Greedy Williams had a spectacular freshman season with six interceptions. Williams has great size (6-2, 182) and quickness, and he has top-10 upside. 

46. Carolina Panthers: Elgton Jenkins, C, Mississippi State 
Ryan Kalil said he's going to retire after this season, so here's a replacement for him. 

Excellent as both a run blocker and a pass protector, Elgton Jenkins has the athleticism and talent to be chosen in the second round. 

76. Carolina Panthers: Blace Brown, CB, Troy 
The Panthers need to continue fixing their secondary, which is atrocious.

I'm all here for this.  Don't know the guy in the 2nd but all for a safety.  Sweat and Bradbury, with a OT for depth from a big school works for me.
