Goodell is going to screw up this league.

Didn't the NFL Europe go under because a lack of fan interest. Great idea Goddell. Oh yeah thanks for letting what Tagliabue, the CBA, run out. You probably just assured a strike in the immediate future. Tagliabue's last act to was to make sure he left you with one and now we probably will never again have a salary cap which is the sole reason this league has taken off the last 15 years. It lends to parity in the league. Every year your team can go from 1-15 to 11-5 (or at least the Phins can). It allows each team to have a more balanced chance at both players and wins. This is the reason I hate MLB. Teams like the Yankees can just buy championships.

I understand what he WANTS to do...compete with soccer world wide. That...will not happen...ever. He needs to think about the jet lag for the London team's players mostly but also the teams that go over there each week; the money that it will cost to have a team that far away, and the cost of getting things to and fro; the fact that there is no solid proof London would be any more supportive than Jacksonville after the first few years, and also not to mention that right now, even playing in London costs one team's fans a home game. As a PSL owner, if I ever lost one of my ten games a year to London, I'd be outraged.

I think Mexico City is actually the best non-us team prospect (other then maybe a Candian one). The 49ers and Cards game had more people then any other game in NFL history and they both sucked that year. It is not a long flight and I think it would bring in a whole huge market base for advertisement. This country is fastly approving a time when Mexicans while be in the Majority of the population (and I am not being racist I am just stating fact). Money Money Money.

Why not bring a new team(s) to the U.S. in a state whose population shows support but has no team, before moving to another country? What about Oklahoma, they have the college fans. Maybe it's just me but the NFL seemed displayed as very "American-made" to me. Would the euro's have to sing our star spangled banner before each game, or something of their own?

Personally I would leave it. It's fine as it is. I am sure all this comes down to is the amount of money they are estimating on making.

Here is what I think will go down.

Jax will move to LA.

Buffalo to Toronto

London will get a team

Mexico city will get one.

London will be a NFC team and Mexico city a AFC. This will all take place in the next five years. In ten years wouldnt be surprised if Germany and Spain picks up teams either and one other city in Europe getting another to make a conference. Schedule will go to 18 games with only 2 preseason games. Logistically it will work just schedule the London games where teams playing there will have a bye. After all the byes are gone London team travels to East Coast games.

    • You ok bro? Too much offseason left for you to be going full "crazy" like this.
    • OK, switching gears here a bit because I did not want to start a thread about uniforms again because this is tongue-in-cheek humor----or is it?    Background Information:  My wife is a Taylor Swift fan (A Swiftee).  She says that Taylor Swift puts subtle "clues" in her videos and lyrics, hinting what might be coming soon.  Here is an example of clues that may indicate future releases or upcoming events:    I see a lot of similarities between Dan Morgan and Taylor Swift.  They both spend a lot of money and time on their hair.  They both have the same vowel (a) in their first names.  Taylor Swift has 11 letters in her first and last name and was born in 1989.  Morgan was born in 1978--11 years earlier.  Eerie.  So it is probable that Morgan drops hints when he is on Television.  Most recently, I noticed a shot during his appearance on Pat McAfee's show.  See if you can notice it.  I will give you 30 seconds (30 second pause).  OK, did you see it? In the bottom left hand corner of the photo, it appears that he has a canister of roll-on deodorant.  I am guess "Axe" scented.  Just to the right of his shoulder, I see a smoothie mixer, probably a Ninja "Bullet."  "Axe" and "Bullet?" We are going to war, it seems. Then there are two mini helmets, one being Morgan's alma mater, but it is also a symbol for "hurricanes."  Fall is hurricane season, the season during which we shall go to war. Between the two helmets, there is a framed, blurry, red herring clue--Morgan's gold-plated volunteer junior deputy badge.  But the real clue is there, in the far right hand corner of the picture---a WHITE Carolina Panther helmet.  Not silver.  WHITE.  Hmmmm.  A WHITE Panther helmet in the GM's office.  What could that mean?  Men with war axes wear helmets.  Men going to war with bullets wear helmets.  Men in hurricanes wear helmets (I am speculating).  White helmets to usher in hurricane season.  The calm before the storm.  Uncanny.
    • #1 defense in the NFL. A bunch of rookies wasn't gonna help that unit. Yet out there with UDFAs starting on the oline and nutting up the Super Bowl.
