It just may be me, but are Carolina pro sports getting under the skin of those that take there dear sport too seriously?

From Cam to the Storm Surge, whenever we start winning, suddenly we are a threat to institution of that sport. Perhaps it's because the Carolina's have a rich history of fun like minor league baseball or hockey ( see the Durham Bulls or the Monarchs) or is it that small market pro teams should know their place? 

Well, screw them...Last night's game the Canes celebrated a fantastic road trip and two wins at home and are just 3 points from second place and it was a blast- great chants, multimedia shows and good solid hockey. You never know how long this will last, so go get a reasonably priced ticket ( the upper bowl was rocking) and enjoy the pain we give to those that think we are having too much fun.

The storm surge has been ruffling the feathers of fans and commentators from teams north of the border and the original six but what they don’t realize is there opinion doesn’t matter.

This is for Canes fanes and Canes fans only, I hope we make it to the playoffs and do one with the entire world tuned in.
