Hurney gave 2 RBs huge contract extensions right around the time that the league switched to a more pass heavy focus on offense. took years of penny pinching to get any semblance of cap space which then quickly went to extending key pieces like Cam and Luke, finally freed up some cap space only to dump it all on the hope that Matt Kalil would turn into a franchise LT.
