How many teams actually have their QB of the future in their roster already?

Like everything else it's a crap shoot, look at the Cards, Raiders, and Titans- they all thought they had their QB's.

Steelers, Saints, Falcons, Packers, Lions, Bears, Bengals, Patriots, Colts, Broncos, Chargers, Chiefs, Texans, 49ers, Eagles, Dolphins, Ravens, cowboys, Giants, Jets.

who did i miss?

well, instead of changing the QB this team has spent its resources on RB and offensive line......two first round RB's, big money Gross, big money Wharton, 2nd rounder and first center taken in his draft Kalil, and first rounder Otah. The team has spent a lot on the offensive line and RB's and statistically that's where it should pay off in the running game theoretically. Yes the QB shouldn't be at a 60 rating this season. He's fuged up but he's also been pressured in the first few games too.....I'd hate to add up the last several backups to Jake's QB rating and see what it is cuz it prolly ain't too much higher than Jake's current. They did everything but bring in a high profile either by draft pick or FA QB to be a quick fix for now.

But they're starting now, and some have been for a while.

Who's their successor? That was his question.

why do you need a successor to a QB that still has several years of starting time left? those teams have young QBs that will be starting in this league for 5 to 6 years or more from now. for example, Big Ben is what 25, 26? he'll be starting for about 10 or more years.

    • Trade up for a project was dumb, he's gonna be 25 next month. By the time you're deciding on whether he's worth the 5th year option or a big contract you're already gonna be thinking about moving on soon either way.
    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
