If what folks got out of this article was that we were going to run what Ron used in 2010 and we were going to have an identical team and record, then we have too.many literal unthinking folks in this thread. The point was SD had the number 1 offense and defense that year and Ron did a great job scheming who he had to make them effective.  Ron understands concepts of the 3-4 and the 4-3 and knows how to have a top 5 defense in either scheme. Obviously the scheme this fall will be using the current folks to the best of their ability. And contrary to huddle logic, Rivera does understand personnel and knows how to get the best out of his players and they want to play for him.
