Let’s say we don’t resign Kemba...

After next season we have our first rounder, Batum, Monk, Bridges, Zeller and Graham under contract.  In 2021/22 Batum and his huge money will expire so he is a trade chip.  Maybe not resigning Kemba would make some sense.  At this point it really sucks but it must be considered.

I would offer that 5th year but total package 5 years 160 m.  In that range.  See what happens.

Not very high on him. I guess he'd be okay.. but if we're going for a Gonzaga guy I'd prefer it to be Clarke just for that athleticism. Also, Rui's defensive instincts leave a lot to be desired. Think I'd take Little over Rui too.

Should be interesting to see where he falls.

If this is him id move back.

 

Not a Huge fan, not a move the needle guy.

Guy is too limited a athlete to play the wing, but the size of the wings in this league.

Has length, but with that bring concerns considering his production.  He only avg 6 reb a game in a weak west coast.

 

His shooting, the stats do show 40% but have to look past that as he only made 15 3s.  So still questions of how good a shooter he really is.  

Seems more of another Marvin Williams.

      Even if he beats the odds, returns midseason  and plays like he did last year it won’t warrant a big contract extension.

      It’ll be interesting to see how the board falls I completely agree with you on TE for us The safety from Oregon would be the cherry on top for Evero’s defense/scheme.  If a OL’men is there that you love it would be very hard to pass up. This fan base seems to just see Walker as a stop gap but I wouldn’t be so sure. He’s the same age as Ekwonu. He’s had a much more impressive career arc/progression than Icky has. He’s the better pass protector. As far as I see it if Walker has a good year I’d bring him back over Icky. Ekwonu isn’t some elite franchise LT. Playing next to Lewis is going to be great for Walker much like it has been for Icky. We definitely need to get younger/cheaper on the OL though so for this reason alone it’s still top of my list come round 1 if board falls this way  Could also use another corner with Mike Jackson’s deal up after this season and needing a nickel but Corey Thornton looked really good in that role in the limited time we got to see him. However he’s coming off an achillies injury and you never know with those.  Then as mentioned above we do still have a need at WR. As far as “weapons” go it’s kind of a 2 man show with Tmac and Coker and neither is a burner. If Jordan Tyson is there at 19 and we can have a young WR group locked up for cheap that’s a huge advantage cap wise  And don’t forget linebacker. That clip in Devin’s Lloyd blueprint they used from Evero saying they need more intelligence there could’ve been left out for Wallace’s sake but it’s true. Wallace is lost in coverage. Pair a smart linebacker with Lloyd and that’s a group with Wallace and Cherelus being depth
