Given the way last season went, not terribly surprising to hear that they were always planning to keep three quarterbacks. I just expected one of them to be a veteran free agent.

I think some on here are making that into a bigger deal than it is. A late 7th round pick. We had to cut a bunch of good WRs that were on par if not better than him. I don't understand the love for him on here.

I figured they wouldn't.  I mean if they didn't bring him back by now, what is he gonna say?  "Sorry, he wasn't good enough."

Pretty sure somebody asked Ron Rivera about it (I think it was Joe Person).

I don't remember what he said but Ron always gives non-committal answers to those kind of questions anyway.
