finally, teams have to worry about drew brees, which helps the saints rushing attack alot, if the saints had delhomme and the panthers had brees, both of our RB's would look like walter payton and barry sanders, while all the saints rbs would barely get 1.5 YPC.

Guys, let's not get ahead of ourselves here. The win today was awesome, and we may be seeing this team start to turn things around, but NO is absolutely trashing top teams. To come in here and guarantee that we will beat them is just foolish. I hope we win--we tend to play up to the competition, we do well when we are the underdog, and the fact that this is a division game makes our differences in records a lot less relevant, but it's going to take a hell of a game in all phases to beat the Saints.

With that said, anyone who thinks the Saints have a better running core than us needs to lay off the pipe.

I just knew someone would make such an assanine post. We still have a great deal to prove and both statistically and practically we do not come close to measuring up to the Saints. Honestly all that matters to me is that we can be proud of our team's performance win or lose, but at least after today's win I actually have some hope for a victory...It is a nice feeling.

Our group of RBs aren't that great yet our total rushing game is superior to that of the Panthers. Why is that? Our o-line and Brees, our interior o-line is manhandling people, that's where 55% of our runs go and we're averaging one of the highest YPCs in the league up the gut, the second reason is Brees. He opens up the run game.

It's funny how you guys went to 'BURN IT DOWN' mode to oh sh*t we're going to beat the best team in the league. Laughable. You guys will make this beadown that much sweeter, as fans of the Lions, Eagles, Bills, Jets, Giants, and Fins have.
