4th in total in receiving yards in the entire NFL at age 22

Doing all of this in a Ron Rivera conservative, old school, run heavy offense not tailored for big passing yardage like modern teams

All while catching passes from the 28th ranked quarterback in the NFL, an undrafted jag rookie free agent who can't find Moore on most deep balls

Behind an offensive line that can't block downfield

Given the circumstances, it might be the most remarkable season any player on our roster is having.

Ron doesnt have an offense, Norv does. We have the 7th highest pass to run ratio in the league at just under 63% passing. The last 3 games we've passed a hair under 70% of the snaps.

Very misleading.  Half our 'passes' are just dump offs, and essentially CmC runs/handsoff.  Eliminate the CMC dumps, and we don't pass very often compared to most teams.

We don't pass the ball down field, partially due to scheme, but also partially due to Kyle Allen's limitations.

Norv Turner is just as conservative and just as much of a dinosaur as Ron Rivera.  Both belong coaching in an older era of football.

In all fairness, our pass to run is out of whack from being stupidly behind in games due to a defense that can't stop the Girl Scouts flag football team.  We employ the best RB in football, and Norv loves to run when he has a great back.

    • I noticed Canales commented on King having a live arm. Weinke coached him and said he could make any throw an NFL team would ask him to make.  His mechanics and general process of throwing looks a little wonky to me though. Haven’t really zoomed in on that though to say more.     Brazzell, his hands look at least decent to me and of course his speed is there.   Love his balance.  Like a cat, always comes down on his feet. Not his butt.
    • If Veabel is the father the name, unfortunately…. well you are looking at Mike Jr.    I feel bad for the husband And the kid though. Especially the kid who had no hand in anything and is just a victim.   Most people would develop some pretty big issues around the chaos of finding out nothing you were told about your father was true and you have been calling the wrong guy Dad.  And trusting your mother, well that is over too.     She should be permanently burned as a reporter or rumor reporter. Whatever she I was.    Who can trust anything she says?   Vrabel has outed himself as a total phony. No credibility whatsoever.
    • My worry is about his concussion. Concussions.  Last thing we need is for him to  be like Jewel. I am looking forward to him benefiting from better players around him in the defense.  Defending QBs under a little more pressure than the last few years.  Better coverage defense in front of him in the middle.
