Mike McCarthy sounds like he is auditioning for a Tepper interview

As I said in the last McCarthy thread.

Under no circumstances.

 

Tepper has a few issues on the "football" side as he calls it.

We are in need of a full rebuild, and we have nobody in place currently to lead this transition.

We have a major QB crisis on our hands, that likely ends with lots of fans being upset with the team.

We have a major issue with attendance at the stadium....fan apathy.

 

This hire would only make the apathy worse.

McCarthy is the only choice that I would have stuck with Rivera over. The guy is a dinosaur, maybe even more so than Ron, and on the side of the ball where we need innovation the most right now. Green Bay gave him the boot and instantly became elite contenders again. I hate that he's even in the conversation.
