To a degree.  George was more dynamic, whereas Herbert is smoother to me.  George was full of WOW plays, but then was just as likely to come out with a WTF play.  IMO, his biggest problem was his attitude and ego.  Herbert, on the other hand, seems like a really good and laid back kid.  From everything I have heard about him, his teammates and coaches love him and he's a hard worker.

To be fair, I don't think Oregon's offense did him any favors, and I saw a lot of inconsistency from his receivers.  So there is a degree of forgiveness for some of his issues.  But it seems that when the pressure is on, he starts forcing things and can get wild in his throws, and he starts to make some bad decisions.  I think that's what's so frustrating about him.  You see the possibilities, but there's far too much of the negatives.

And I'm a believer that you either have the ability to handle pressure or not.  You can coach around it a bit, but there is going to come a time when you're going to need to ball up and put the team on your shoulders.  And I'm just not sure Herbert is ever going to be that guy you want leading your team in the big moments.

The thing about George is he was virtually uncoachable. Remember seeing him giving coach has some major attitude on the sidelines.
