It is simple. He is not able to play on the outside. He needs to be in the slot. He is too short with short arms and gets routinely abused over the top.  He is mismatched to where he should be playing. We need a bookend to Bradberry and Jackson isn't it. I said that in the offseason as well.

Donte is 5-10 with 29 inch arm length. 

Bradberry is 6-1 and had a 33 inch arm length.

Huge difference   Even the average arm length for a pro cornerback is over 31 inches.  Two extra inches counts in a lot of sports,  indoors and out
