Former Pro Bowl Safety Donte Whitner RIPS Perry Fewell

Not saying there's no validity to Jackson's complaints, but it's hard to take him seriously when he's getting abused like he has been on the field.

He's not getting asked to play exclusively man-to-man or anything that's setting him up for failure.  He's simply not making plays that are there to be made.  It's lazy and lacks accountability on his part to blame coaching.

Maybe that guy is a legit football savant, but damn if he ain't proud of himself and shitting on everyone not him.

Pretty much.

What he said about Norman does jibe with stuff we heard here, though. One of the original complaints on him was his not knowing where he was supposed to be or freelancing.

Hate to say it, but the stuff about Perry Fewell sounds legit too. Can't really say I'm all that concerned about it either way though given that his Panthers coaching career probably ends a week from Sunday.

    • just read the thread. I would like to say that the team not being sold to Tepper is an absolute banger of an answer and probably the right one

Initial gut reaction when I first thought of this question is Kasay kicks it in bounds on the kickoff, but unfortunately I still think New England wins that game even with that My second instinct was pulling Bene out before he breaks his leg in the playoffs. My crackpot theory is if he never gets hurt we win the superbowl. I refuse to go back and watch the game but at some point Peyton throw an absolute duck that should have been pick 6'd. but because we were on our like fifth outside corner he was slow to the ball. this would have completely flipped that game because I'm pretty sure Denver scored that drive and the next one was the Cam sack fumble
