So what did we learn tonight?

When the Panthers play the Saints, no matter when it is, no matter where it is, and no matter what the circumstances, you have to keep this in mind.

Stats don't matter, record doesn't matter, personnel doesn't matter, and location doesn't matter. Both teams are 0-0. It'll be settled on Sunday.

You guys do remember that our rushing defense pretty much sucks, right? NO has what, the #3 rushing offense against our #24 rushing defense? They won't have to pass on us, because they will probably run through us. If we can't stop the run, their passing game is just going to be icing on the cake for them.

I'll just say the Saints aren't who I thought they were.

They are looking very beatable, by us or anyone for that matter. I thought Atlanta was going to pull this out, but as others have pointed out they exploited Matt Ryan and forced him to make mistakes through excellent study of his tendencies.

I learned some more things;

Chuckie sucks at play by play

There is a hell of a lot of offensive pass interference not called

And we can go on the road and spank the defending NFC Champions and still get bumped off the "fastest three minutes in sports"

Thats because they played down to our level. Or so they say.....

The Saints in fact have no run defense.

Micheal Turner 20 rushes for 151 yards.

Breesus is indeed human and can be rushed successfully.

Both the Saints and Falcons, like the Panthers have flaws.

Matty Ice aint so cool.

Your placekicker better make their field goals when given the opportunity.

This coming Sunday should be entertaining.

We learned that the team you pulled for lost. You were all over the Falcons on this one. Maybe next time....

    • Many layers my frend- Panthers had a draft recently. They picked 4 defense players. Each player picked 11, 22, 33, 55 as their number. For some players that number match the round or pre-draft round rank, example- Prince was a 3rd rounder and choose 33. Nic was a 1st rounder on some mock drafts and Dan Morgan said they had him as a 1st, he picked 11. Cam Jackson recently switched his number to 55, same as draft and has been telling Dave he wants to be special over and over.  The 44 was to add GOAT feels, thoughts, and more intrigue to this rookie phenomenon. X files was cause it was a great TV show and maybe it was playing when this theory came together.......   I hope this helps!
    • The best things Purdy has are certainly important tools for any QB. His accuracy his timing his decision making etc. I feel like he is a high end Teddy Bridgewater. You can compete and win in the regular season with this especially in a weakened NFC but where his limitations come into focus is when you are trying to contend for a Super Bowl you are going against elite and in some instances generational QB's like Mahomes. And when the time has come for him to go up against Mahomes he simply can't get it done. Now certainly he is not alone in that regard and people will point to another highly regarded QB such as Josh Allen who also cannot get by Mahomes. But the difference I see is Allen is not IMO at a phsyical disadvantage in that matchup whereas Purdy is. And that is with what had been to this point a comically stacked roster around Purdy and let's be clear we cannot understate that regardless of which side of the fence we land on in this debate. Purdy has had a top 5 roster and a top 5 coach. And the last time they went to the Super Bowl they leaned on McCaffrey extremely heavily. Now with what they are having to pay him and divert limited resources elsewhere they face a steep climb to get back to the Super Bowl let alone actually win it.
    • Lonzo mentioned Melo going to the Clippers, but he also said we would draft Dylan Harper and he isn't making it to 4.
