Eric Bieniemy might get a head coaching job after all

Just not in the NFL...

Bieniemy becomes logical candidate for Colorado head coaching job after Mel Tucker leaves for Michigan State

Fans from all the fanbases that saw a new head coach hired this season (yes, including ours) have responded to the Chiefs Super Bowl win by asking why nobody gave Bieniemy a head coaching job in the NFL this season. Realistically, I think you kinda have to give Patrick Mahomes...you know, some credit for that but hey...

Worth remembering that Bieniemy did make a point after his Panthers interview of saying he wanted to work with Cam Newton. Outside of his "plan to" comment (which, realistically didn't say anything definitive)  Matt Rhule has followed the example of team owner David Tepper, remaining generally vague and non-commital.

If Bieniemy does end up heading back to Colorado, the Chiefs are expected to promote QB Coach and former Eagles quarterback Mike Kafka to fill his spot.

First, I think Bieniemy would be a great fit at his Alma Mater.

Second, there is consistency in their approach to questions about Cam.  Cam is like Voldemort in Harry Potter:  "He who shall not be named...."
