Neither Tom nor Mahomes won a championship by themselves..  Belichick scheme and Andy Reid schemes are proven.. And both of those teams have alot of talent..

Without Mahomes, Andy Reid has Alex Smith. Without Brady, BB has Stidham. How many rings would they have together?

Without Andy Reid those weapons and a top 10 defense what does Mahomes have?? See it works the other way around as well.. Not to mention the fact that he got hurt and they still won games with Matt Moore...lol

How many rings does Brady have without Belichick?? None.... They lost Brady for a season and one 11 games with who again??

That's the case for everyone. Simmons isn't going to do us much good by himself while he's fighting off blockers because of our terrible DL. Okudah isn't going to do us much good by himself while we're getting the ball ran down our throats. Brown won't do us much good by himself while he's fighting constant double teams but at least that might open up opportunities for others.

Brown getting doubled would free up KK and Burns. It would also keep blockers off Shaq and Whitehead. His pass rushing skills with KK and Burns should help our CBs not have to cover as long. I just think he helps our team the most. Brown, KK, Burns, and Weatherly could make a decent defensive line for us. CB would need to be addressed soon afterwards, but it’s a deep class for cornerbacks.

I'd go with Andrew Thomas, OT.

Wont get anywhere without getting better Oline play. He could start at LG until Okung gets injured or is gone. Locking down our LT for years to come with our new QB from the 2021 draft should be a top prio.

The drop off on the tackle position is much steeper than DT, CB or WR. Would be able to get perhaps Marlon Davidson in the 2 round or Ross Blacklock. Should also be some good CBs available.

The biggest issue moving into this season is not only DL but CB.

I think most of you forget we have to play the duo Matt Ryan and Julio Jones (& Calvin Ridley) Twice, Drew Brees and the best WR Michael Thomas (& Manny Sanders) Twice, and also Tom Brady and Mike Evans (& Chris Godwin) twice. CB is our need asap. I like Jackson but no way he will be able to hang with those guys 6 times this year.

The logically move is either to move up in the draft and get Okudah or move back in the draft and get Johnson and pick up some draft capital. The draft is deep with play makers.

1.Okudah DB

2. Johnson DB

3. Brown DL

4.Bekton. OT

Are all great options to better this team.

    • Biiiiiig eyeroll on this.  First, Look at historical stats of the most recent historical great DBs.  I plucked 3, Revis, Sherman, and Norman (cuzz he was our guy).  Combined post age 30, there are TWO pro bowls between those 3 and wanna get this...ZERO seasons with 16 games started.  ALL missed time.  It is RARE that Corners survive that long in the NFL and its about time we started recognizing this fact.  Jaycee is a good bet because it hasnt been anything seriously devastating injury wise, and with his sample size he could and should be an incredible piece for the panthers through age 30. Jaire kinda flops on the other side, hes 28...so hes under 30, but he wants his payday before it comes up, hes also been injury prone lately.  Bulk of the contract will be on opposite side of 30.  Will both of these guys help us be better in 2026?  SURE!  No doubt, but the question is, will these guys help us past 2026...not sure. The investment isnt worth the risk, nor would the ROI be anywhere close to worth it.  Neither guy is moving us from a 6-8 win team to a 8-10 team, period. My point is we're in this state a 6-8 win team IMO and he projects us as  a 4-6 win team.  EVEN if we think Jaire or Ramsey will make us a 6-8 win team, it in NO WAY is worth the money or capital to move that much just to suck kinda less.
    • I assumed he was retiring but apparently he plans on playing multiple more seasons.  Florida is gonna have trouble holding onto everyone.  Happens to all teams that have that much success.
    • I hate Marchand, but if he became a free agent.....
