Team Of The Aughts

Well, I can understand it if they think somebody is better, but I don't see how they can justify not even considering Smitty. How many times has that guy single handedly carried this team when we had no other viable WR on the roster and everybody in the stadium knew he was getting the ball? How many other WR's can make that claim?

Holt had Bruce for the longest time, Harrison for a while had Wayne and clark.

You could make that claim for Moss after Carter retired, Smith, and Owens for a good part of his career.

IMO, Wes Welker is every bit as important to the Patriots as Moss has been since they have both been there, and Moss did next to nothing in Oakland. Yeah, Owens carried the Eagles WR corps for a couple of years, but that's about it. Either way, Steve Smith should be on the list of candidates, at least.

    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
    • Nah we just talking about giving a platform and normalizing predators (who both beat women) opinions and celebrating it if it fits your narrative.  If that's fun I'm fine being a miserable fug by not supporting P.O.S like that. N b4 you call me a libtard or some other dumb ish know I'm an Anarchist/Libertarian and believe both these dudes should get a complete ass whooping (at min) or something worse for what they have done to women in this world.
