Where is a good place to catch the game?

Wild Wing at Epic-Centre is actually really good. Black Finn is packed but it's more like a nite club than actual sports watching. Don't go to Stool Pigeons. This was once a decent bar on Sunday....they've actually upgraded the TV's and they are worse off than before. This place will be closed in 3 months. The Men's Club and Uptown are both good options as well. They throw little yellow flags at you for Illegal Touching, Roughing the Stripper, Improper Equipment, etc. i threw one back for Illegeal Whoremation and got kicked out.

haha...if you've never been kicked out of a strip bar at some point, you've not been playing hard enough.

So how is Wild Wings for watching games other than the Panthers. Or is it one of those places that has Carolina on every tv and turns the juke box on when they arent playing? I hate that.

Fox and Hounds could be decent if they had decent TVs.

    • Question to the posters on this thread because you are knowledgeable--I love watching and pull for the Canes, but I never played so I don't have the understanding I had when I played football then watched it.  Having said that, Do you think we are weak at Center?  I see the team to be pretty strong on the wings, promising defense, and weak at Goalie.  It would be ideal if the Canes had 1 more position to upgrade, not 2.  I don't think you can count on Anderson to play a full season and he is 35.  However, are we solid at Center in your view?
    • Couldn't agree more, Kooch is erratic and Freddy is fragile, maybe save the remaining cap space for a goalie stud at the deadline
    • There is one play that sold me-- it was around 2:38, I think.  It was 4th and 1 and the QB telegraphed and threw the ball out wide to TMac.  He had no blocking (the TE was very late) and four defenders collapsed on TMac behind the LOS. They seemed to know it was coming.  He got hit behind the LOS and battled through several hits to get three yards.  THAT play showed me his fire.
