Well, damn! "7 Panthers who need to step up in Week 3"

Usually you see something like one, two or three players in an article that supposedly need to step up, but Panthers Wire has included coaches and everything...Rightfully so! 

The USA today writer Tim Weaver is absolutely right; Joe Brady, Teddy Bridgewater, Mike Davis, Curtis Samuel, Ian Thomas & Matt Rhule will have to step it up for different reasons, including Christian McCaffrey's absence.

But, Weaver kind of copped out by listing "the entire offensive line." That's more than seven! And, what makes it so bad, is that there was no mention of anyone on defense. Is he trying to snow us? And, yes, that was a pun for those that missed it. I guess he didn't want to pile on, but I wouldn't have thrown a flag if he decided to do so, because honestly the defense has played kinda foul. But maybe he realizes--like some Huddlers need to realize--that developing and gelling into a legitimately competitive team is a process and takes patience. But Weaver could have went with something like "45 Panthers who need to step it up in Week 3" and the title wouldn't have even been double-take worthy because it's true.

Until we learn how to win a game with this squad the whole damn team needs to step up.
