Realize that he is playing well and hard. The DL and Pep played very well in the 1st half and the defense was big part in getting the 17-3 lead. The Saints only attempted a whooping 4 pass attempts in order to tie the game up at 17-17. That is asking a lot of Pep and the DL in only giving them 4 chances to do something.......the secondary did a VERY poor job on those two big plays.

You actually HATE him, despite him single handidly winning games in the past and making significant differences this season and generally being a professional all though his career with us.

So what if the guy did not have an impact on this game, can anyone actually tell me a DL player who HAS made an impact against Brees? The guy is still a Panther player and deserves recognition for what he has achieved.

Zod mentioned that Brown performed better than him. Whoopee. Players out perform others all the time, but its the impact plays that make the difference. You honestly think Strahan, White etc were never bested by their young and up and coming protege?

I heard that after the game yesterday his hand was very swollen and wrapped in a gauze/wrap. Has anyone heard about this? If so, when did he hurt his hand during the game?

I think we all agree Pep ain't worth the $$$ but no DE in football is currently......and that ain't Pep's fault. Overall, he is playing some pretty dang good football.....and all though his second half was quiet it was mainly do to a lack of chances the DL had b/c of huge plays given up by the secondary. 1st half Pep was playing pretty hard and getting a good amount of attention in the process.

Peppers is doing what he always does, he has a beast game then a average one (just like every other star DE in the league). We still need to try to re-sign the guy next year if we can nail down a decent contract. (That's if he wants to stay) They should in no way possible Franchise him again.
