Will the game be shown in the Triad?

Does anyone know? I dont want responses from people telling me to ditch Time Warner (I'd love to, but not an option since I live in an apartment that doesn't allow for a satellite) or go to a bar (can't because of family obligations). I just want to know whether the local Greensboro stations will pick up the NFL network feed or if I have to follow it on the internet and get a live "look in" every 15 minutes.

if you go to panthers.com and click on TV/RAdio somewhere it will list all the stations that are the in the network I believe. Should be shown live everywhere in the North and South Carolina. That was one of the conditions of this thursday night nfl network package----that the everyone in the local market could still see it free.

That lists WCCB as the Charlotte Panthers Television Network station. So why is it on WAXN? This whole thing is becoming very confusing.

Since the Carolinas are so heavily dominated by TWC, it actually makes sense for the NFL to really limit the number of stations that can broadcast it locally. I'm sure TWC will be receiving plenty of angry phone calls from places like the Triad come Friday morning if they can't watch. And that's exactly what the NFL wants.

    • Kalkbrenner and Sion James received regular contracts and not two ways, so the Hornets have some work to do to cut the roster size down.
    • Gustavsson would be insane. I think we would have to break the bank to afford that move. Which, I don't think is necessarily a bad idea. Ultimately, Freddie isn't likely to be around more than a couple of seasons more. We can all agree that unless they have a fleet of sports psychologists working on Kochetkov, he will never be capable of getting his head on straight enough to compete.
    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
