I found this side-by-side comparison of Saints' offensive performance in weeks 1 & 2 interesting.  Shows just how dramatically we turned the tables on them and completely disrupted their offense.

And this was pretty wild:

    • We had a number of fans here who couldn't wait to get Cam Newton out the door so I don't see it as being far fetched there are some Ravens fans that aren't enamored with Lamar Jackson. As it is Lamar has squarely placed the burden of the entire franchise on himself now with Harbaugh out as he receives minute by minute updates from the Ravens org about their head coaching search. Good luck with that.
    • The rams never confirmed that rumor fwiw and mcvay and sneed have been very candid about player strategy in the past. I remember them laughing at Belichick taking a guy in the second round they had a seventh round grade on, live during the draft after then pick was made. its as likely the agent just got that out there that to try to force the panthers hand. like burns can’t both be an overrated soft sack specialist and worth two (future) firsts to one of the best run team in the nfl.
    • It should have only been two options to this whole situation 1) Take that Rams deal as soon as it was offered or 2) Pay the man Instead, we (yet again) chose the worst option and did neither, and we were left with trading him for scraps. The problem wasn't trading him, the problem was not taking that Rams deal.
