PJ back after a long stretch of games and playing with his hair on fire in the 1st.

3-3 and all for 3....he's got 9.

2 blocks both of which led to fast break buckets

Hornets lead by 17 after the 1st.  Melo sat out the last 5 mins with 2 fouls and Hornets stretched the lead.  So good to know we are not a one superstar team.

The Jazz have owned the Hornets the last couple years.

The are in the West…not a big deal IMO

Last year we discussed they needed a wing scorer and rim protector.  Oubre solves #1.  What an amazing get he was from Kup.  #2 is still a question but this team is pointing way up

So are the Suns. I just had to point out that their are certain teams the Hornets are just bad against for some reason or another. The Heat have been another one the last couple seasons.

And that was a very nice alley oop to Plumlee. LaMelo is on another triple double watch.

    • Joe Person   @josephperson · 16m     Panthers become the 1st team this yr with 5 weekly winners: Rico Dowdle, Ryan Fitzgerald, Sam Martin, Tre'von Moehrig and Bryce. Panthers last did that in 2017: Cam Newton, Julius Peppers, Luke Kuechly, Jonathan Stewart and Damiere Byrd.
    • Gotta wonder if Smitty's brain has turned to mush with how hard he played in the NFL
    • OK, fair enough--however, since my point was that drafting a QB in the top 10 is stupid, if you consider the players who were not drafted in the top 10 or those who WERE drafted in the top 10 and did not secure starting positions with the team that drafted them, you should see the point.  Is it smart to draft a QB in the top 10 when only 4 are still starting for the team that drafted them.  Next, consider that half of that number, 2, were drafted outside the first round.  Next, there are 4 (Goff, Mayfield, Jones, and Darnold) who are starting on other teams after busting.   That number could increase as Arizona seems ready to move on from Murray, Miami is not sold on Tua, and jacksonville is still waiting for Trevor to start looking elite.  Bryce?   So to answer your question, there are MANY more QBs in the NFL who have busted and become starters on other rosters, were drafted after day 1, or are still on the cusp than the four who have become elite.  I thought that point was made.
