Unfortunately they may have missed their opportunity, the past few years there were a lot better candidates when they were in the market. Plenty of retreads available but this team needs a offensive coach who understands this is the NFL and has experience in the NFL.

On that we do agree, my choice would’ve been someone from the Shanahan/Kubiak tree, I feel they have the most effective system in football and it would’ve only added value to CMC and even Cam, I always thought he would thrive like John Elway in that system.

And I recall a few lecture-esque posts about how this 'isn't your daddy's Panthers'. Looks about the same to me, maybe worse.

This is definitely worse than the talent the Panthers brought in and held onto during the Hurney years. I'll take that over this any day. I'd like to sniff a championship for a few years during a decade with capable players and coaches if we aren't set up to be a dynasty. There is no foundation of a championship team for the remainder of this decade if the Panthers stick with Fitterer and Rhule. Bad investments.

    • We dont know how anyone feels about going forward with bryce, nobody has asked anyone the question.  We do know through actions that there is no fuging way Canales overly trusts him behind center.  I dont know after 30+ games how the hell you couldnt have a concrete opinion by now. Ellis was all over fnz and twitter today screaming about "letting it play out".  What the fug is 5 games going to show you after all we have seen?  Everyone but a few on here rightly, thought he had turned the proverbial corner last year.  It was clearly smoke and mirrors.   He could win out and they still have to bring in competition, you simply cannot risk it again him being dogshit to start the year and then when he levels out its the classic sub 200 games. I half assed looked for the quote from whatever writer (maybe it was on a podcast) about how after the atl game running it back was a real possibility with Dalton and bryce.  There is simply no way that could possibly happen.  No way.  Thats some playground poo.
