1st: Trade Down.  Steeler move UP for a QB trading Carolina their 2nd and their later of their 2 3rds

15. Charles Cross- Big Upside LT.  And yes, he has the arm length for Rhule.  He his biggest weakness is lack of run blocking reps playing in that Mike Leach air raid.  But the little reps he gets, they look good.  This is a good OT class up top.  The 3rd OT in this strong class still available at 15

47. Nakobe Dean:  Stud LB who may not be here.  BUT, his size will probably creep him down to this range.  Panthers lose Jermaine Carter to FA and will be looking for another starting LB on a defense that’s already struggling in run defense.  While Dean is smaller, he has the athletic ability and nose for the ball.  If Dean isn’t there.  If one of the 2 Bama LBs are in consideration.

97.  Jeremy Ruckert: not the biggest freak athlete but athletic enough.  Not the biggest aggressive blocker, but good enough.  Ruckert isn’t elite or have Elite traits but is just a dam good football player.  Solid athletic group of pass catching TEs pushes him down a little.  Ian Thomas will most likely not be resigned, and we draft an upgrade to him.  Matt Rhule has made it known that he wants to run the ball.  So what helps a team with a struggling OL and likes to run the Ball?  2 TE sets.  Ruckert and Tremble make a Really good tandem.

105.  Alec Lindstrom: brother of the Falcons OG.  Alec has the tools and could eventually become a starter at Center.  Elfein will most likely be back 1 more year.  This allows Lindstrom to back him up and hopefully groom into the eventual starter.

146. Brian Asamoah- solid LB prospect to help provide depth and special teams player

150. Boye Mafe- freak List guy.  Good guy to groom behind Reddick when we hopefully resign him.

    • Varying degrees all around but it starts at the top. That is where the buck stops. It has been 8 years of stupid, long before Morgan came back. Or Tillis was hired. Made it to the top of stupid mountain in 2023. Stayed in stupid limbo for a while, now we are prepping to scale the next mountain. In this case, I like those guys’ roster building better than what we have had so I am okay with them as our current pawns in the game of Bryce.
    • Don't let me gas him up too much, but I hear this and that...... I seen a wide body man with a quick burst, that's able to shed blocks and if extends his long arms its over. He tore up the OL in the senior, you seen about 10 plays and the dog walking OLman. There's other plays of him doing the same, just have to deal with fetus talking over the plays. Plus there's this-  https://x.com/PFF_College/status/2018385471068332410?lang=en     I hope he's ready, cause Id like to see him starting and doing his thang with dbrown, nic, and Phillips.
    • I mean there is relevance to that. But I think much of it has to do with the fact that he is clearly likeable. But does that translate to a coach taking his position to the next level like those that have had staying power for many years like Spoelstra? And not for nothing but does how much someone is liked even matter? Across leagues with the Panthers Ron Rivera and Marty Hurney were universally well liked by players. Dave Canales is very well liked. I say you are what your record says. And the record says you got your ass handed to you by a fellow expansion team in the Magic in a game that was over at halftime and that same team went toe to toe with our nemesis who has been handing us L's for over a year now. And if Bam doesn't get his leg swept by LaMelo do we even get past the Heat? Again. It just all boils down to personal standards. I think newer and younger fans will love this. I just want to actually win a real playoff game fam 🤷‍♂️
