Well, it is what it is.

After 11 weeks we find ourselves on the "thick" outside looking in, and with very little hope.

I have seen a few threads, and heard from some very optimistic fans, even if I wanted to be that optimistic I couldn't.

So here we are.

We hear nothing but talk from Fox and the team about how tough they are and how they will keep fighting, So lets see it.

I bet they cant do it.

Its time for Fox to put up or shut up, cause the ONLY DAMN thing he has been consistent at is being INCONSISTENT.

I know us fans want to sit down and have hope every Sunday, and we do, but Fox doesnt deserve it anymore.

8 Years of giving us hope and then slamming us down by the balls when we think we finally might become a respectable team is getting old.

8 years is enough... No more freebies for Fox from me.

If he wants it, he has to get it.

Its time to Show us something, because the 1st 11 weeks showed us what we already knew- were an inconsistent team who is average at best....

If Fox wants any respect from me as a fan he better pull a leprechaun out of his ass and turn this season around SOME HOW.

If not, I am done with Fox, and will not spend another dime on this team until he is gone...

What say you....

While I agree that Fox needs to step it up or step out, you should probably think before you get all prissy about going to the playoffs every other year. Yeah, we have some talented players and we could make the playoffs every year but for a new franchise we aren't really doing too bad. A lot of fans would give thier left nut to be going to the playoffs every other year.

Atlanta, Minnesota, NYJ, TB, Miami, Jacksonville, Buffalo, Cinncy, Cleavland, Detroit, SF, Oakland, Houston, AZ. Any one of those teams fans would say "Hell Yes" if you asked them if they would like to have a coach that got you to the play-offs every other year while going 7-9 or 8-8 in the off years. Also in the years that you do make the playoffs he takes you to the NFCG 2 out of 3 and to the SB 1 out of 3. A lot of fan bases would love to have that coach.

Its not about the playoff every other year... Its aboUT back to back winning seasons.

If you ever plan to build a respectable franchise you have to start somewhere, and after 14 years we are far from it.

Miami- SB

JETS-SB

TB-SB

SF-SB

OAK-SB

Fox is a good coach, I will give you that, but he isnt a good coach in Carolina anymore, at least NOT FROM WHAT I HAVE SEEN AFTER A 12-4 SEASON

He banked this season on having 21-of-22 starters returning, well He is getting what he asked for.

Its his team...

All I am saying is, you got what you wanted, put up or shut up or get the hell out of town.

Give me a guy like what Fox was in 2002- a guy wanting to prove something to the NFL..

Enough of the excuses.

i DONT BUY the; "were doing good for an expansion team BS-- Were way past being an expansion team...

Yeah, I've always gotten a laugh out of the multitude of posters that use the 2 NFC championship games and a Super Bowl thing. If you go to 1 Super Bowl, OF COURSE you went to a NFC Championship game.

All else he's done is 1 more NFC Championship Game ... AND LOST.

Heck, Philadelphia recently went to the Super Bowl and FOUR NFC Championship games ... IN A ROW !!!

The only one of those teams you listed with a SB that is even remotely recent is TB and they have sucked ever since.

I don't think that people really understand how difficult it is to have a winning season every year. Its not easy cause if it was they wouldn't pay HC's what they pay 'em and they would hire some asshole off the street to do it.

Do I think that Fox needs to get back to basics and find that passion he used to have? Yes. Do I think that Fox is a stupid coach and the team should fire him? No. The man has been a pretty damn good coach for the time he has been here. No he hasn't put together back to back winning seasons yet but if that is the worst you can say about your HC thats not bad. Especially when you Fox haters conveniently omit the part about how well he has done in the play-offs. Or about some of the shitty ass luck he has had in the off years.

This is the first "Losing Season" that Fox has ever had that you could even say was his fault.

Nov 1st:

Bitch if we lose....

Bitch when we win....

Fuc u all- I am going to enjoy this win and see it as a ladder to the top.

Keep your frustrating, depressing, dumbass opinions.

The Panthers wooped ass, fought hard, and deserved this win.

I am done with this depressing, ignorant board.

If the people here knew 1/2 as much about football as they did about crying we might have a damn fanbase.

PATHETIC

Respect from you as a fan? LOL. So what? I know that this is earth shattering news but John Fox does not know or care who you are.

Same thing with your money. I think the Panthers will be just fine without your annual contributions.

but the fact is, we are only good when we have a weak schedule, theoretically we should be good again next season because we will be playing the 3rd place finisher in the other divisions, we can't have back to back winning seasons because we can't play with the elite teams, even though we have elite talent, therefore it must be the coaching

    • Some of you need some serious help with the way 9 lives rent free in your heads I know for a fact, Dan loves Bryce. Bryce is his guy. This offense is very young and they’re asking Bryce to do a lot. With Idzik taking over playcalling duties it’s a move that is another step in the process of Bryce taking control of the offense. 24 years old. This youth movement on offense and putting more on 9’s shoulders is going to pay off in the long run
    • I can agree that he's not the same traditional tight end as say Warren but he's not that different from Loveland in a guy that plays more like a slot HVAC type row I don't think they're that much there He's probably not as good a route runner but with all that said none of them are the athlete that he is so it's kind of a watch there can I save for a fact that he's going to elite player probably not  You're asking for a wide receiver 3 and that's kind of what this would be in a way but accept bigger and just as explosive he's faster than all the guys that you would find at this point in the draft to feel a slot need and he's a red zone weapon with size verticality and such I think he's just a bigger mismatch than those guys you name Yes your banking on potential I think he's a bigger threat to make a play after the catch just based off strength size and just dog. I can't say I know what the Panthers look for in terms of arm length at the tight end position because we haven't drafted an elite first round tight end almost ever but if I'm looking at the way they have made their moves this offseason they drafted to where they don't have to reach it need and they've addressed most of those needs and this is one of the secondary needs that fit the draft range and if available there's a good chance that's a deep will be gone by time we pick I think you're blessed if he does fall to 19
    • What you are going to see from MHS831, your "source for Panther Predictions that are Unlikely to Happen but if they did, they would be 'real cool,'" is a position-by-position breakdown of needs that we seem to have normalized.  Tight End:  The team is looking for a "game-breaker" and to improve upon a 24th-ranked red-zone offense. Though they have brought back their own players for depth, the organization is looking for more competition to improve the position's overall impact.  In 2025, the unit averaged 8.1 yards per reception, failing to consistently stretch the field or provide a "scary" threat to opposing defenses.  I think they were hoping that Sanders would be that person.  He is not.  I have read some Huddlers demanding the "all-around" TE, and that point is valid.  However, you have to think about the focus on developing Young and the new age TE in the NFL.    "The Carolina Panthers have heavily utilized multi-tight end sets, ranking among the top NFL teams in using 13 personnel (three tight ends)—a strategy they employed on 7.8% of plays during the 2025 season. Under coach Dave Canales, the team employs these formations to bolster the run game and create diverse passing matchups."  This is why a seam-busting, pass-catching TE is so critically important for the Panthers.   This need is perhaps much bigger than we realize.  Do not discount the possibility of drafting Sadiq if he is there; I have seen him in the top 15 frequently. Too many drops for me, personally, and I am not a fan of a TE in round 1 (gotta think salary cap--grab a position that normally gets a high salary on the second contract--not a TE)  Stowers in round 2 is also an option.  I am intrigued by Trigg, a TE who should be drafted in the third round. Let our interest in Njoku demonstrate the kind of TE we seek right now.  Do we need blocking TEs?  Yes, but in a two or three WR set, maybe not as much as a traditional TE. I get the feeling we are not finished at TE.  (Njoku?  I am predicting that he goes to Chicago or Baltimore or Miami--Chicago #1)
