Fox/Delhomme Supports-- I want to hear from you.

I am just interested to hear what you have to say. Becuase I dont see how anyone on God's green Earth, could think that A) Jake Delhomme gives us the "best chance to win" and/or B) John Fox is capable of turning this team around and leading us to WIN a SB. His offense sucks, his team sucks, time to can him.

What say you?

Fox should bench Delhomme for now (He has no problem doing that to Weinke & Peete before they left) & give Moore a chance. That is the best way to look at before we decide to pick a QB in the Draft to become a starter..

If Fox wants any chance to keep his job - he needs to bench Jake now to at least show us he was wrong. This season is lost, I like Fox but don't want to see Jake anymore.

It's funny that it took some people THIS long to understand Delhomme was done. I guess that is what blind loyalty and slurping gets for you. Most of the Fox/Delhomme supports have jumped ship, which irritates me cuz they waited until our playoffs hopes were pretty much over to leave. If you slurpers really had faith in John Fox/Delhomme, you would wait until the season was over.

Anybody could have told you Delhomme was done LAST year. Again, he looked ball in training camp, the live scrimmage, and the preseason. What did you expect? Fox had two prime opportunities to bench Jake, after the Eagles game and during the by week.

I'll throw some names out there...MaineMan, Savior Faire, MrT, Delhommey, RT81/Jake Delhomme 17...I know I'm missing some more, but get your @rses in here and defend your boys...

Despite our 4-7 record, I still support Jake & Fox. Why? B/c they have done so much for us panthers since 2003. My theories about Jake are his surgically operated arm has become weak since the bye week from last year, or he is still haunted by last years playoff game. Fox is a stubborn coach, everyone should know that. He has also built a very strong relationship with Delhomme. When he started as head coach of Carolina he must not have liked Rodney Peete very much b/c he was pulled out of the 1st game back in 2003 easily with Delhomme coming in. Delhomme has played like the same Rodney Peete in at least 3 of our 11 games (philly, 1st atlanta game & yesterday). I also believe neither one of our back up QBs know the playbook well enough, or Fox doesn't approve their quality and/or leadership as QB. Jake is an AWESOME leader but is beginning to become a sorry QB.

Brother, you gotta leave the past in the past. Sadly, Fox and Jake has put their trust in each other over this team, I agree. If Fox properly evaluated Jake this offseason, I'm pretty sure we wouldn't have resigned him or we would have grabbed a

I hope you never make fun of Cowboys fans for talking about how many rings they have. The past is the past, man.

Jake is an AWESOME leader but is beginning to become a sorry QB.

He is a very awesome leader but...BEGINNING TO?

Any QB, who fans ALLOW to have 2-3 bad games a season (i.e. "That was just Bad Jake, Good Jake far outweighs him and is worth keeping!"), shouldn't be starting at all if you want your team to be a consistent winner.

It's time we wake up, people. It's time we stop wanting to be "under the radar". It's time we stop being okay with a winning season every other year. It's time we stop being okay with 2-3 Bad Jake games a season. It's time we stop being okay with an average product.

This is the NFL. It's about winning and nothing else. If you want a loveable loser, go watch MLB and be a Cubs fan. It's time we expect to be a power in this league like the Patriots, Colts, and Steelers are. It's time we stop settling for mediocrity.

Our boys? You don't get it. No one wanted to see Jake next year, no one thought he would really turn it around, no one thought he was anything but bad this season.

All the argument was, is that a Nfl paid coach who see his players for years, thought that Delhomme, while bad, was better then Moore. And that the reason he stook with him is that he thought there would be a better chance at Jake returning to his streaking slef and have a chance at rebounding, then Moore, a third string QB.

And honestly I dont take back what I said, Ill go with a guy who's been in his profession for years over the "unkown" and posters on here (myself inculded) every time. Because more often then not, its the more logical to go that way.

I understand clearly. This is what I don't get. We all knew Jake was going to continue sucking, Jake has sucked on a monumental level. I don't see how you would believe he is truly our best chance to win when our head coach has shown before to be overly loyal to vets and you yourself know he sucks. Yet, instead of coming up with your own opinion of Matt Moore, you choose to put your stock into that head coach. Coaches CAN be wrong...ask Jeff Fisher. He thought Kerry Collins was still better than Vince Young. I know you want to believe Fox, but when every analyst, rival fan, etc. is agreeing with the average poster, maybe you have to sit down and think who is truly right. Man, just watch Delhomme play. Can there really be anybody WORSE than that?

And you guys were supporting Fox/Delhomme, even after games like the Buffalo one. If you truly stick by what you say, stick with Delhomme/Fox for the rest of the season. You should want Delhomme to start for the rest of the season and you should want Fox to return next year.
