one more season for jarrett????

people seem to think the fact he doesn't have a lot of catches means he isn't able to get seperation.....but he gets enough and more than Moose. He just has few reps. Now I will agree I don't think he is a legit #2 right now.....but you need more than 2 WRs. He is a legit #3 who isn't used enough or properly.....with a remotely functional QB and playcalling he would be a legit threat b/c his hands are that good.

this idea of using so many 2 WRs sets is just Fox's preference now....and another reason the offense stinks. There aren't enough options on passing downs....and Moose is hurts the team. Moore or Jarrett as a #3 in a regular gameplan would make the offense better.

to compare his seperation to a WR like Smitty is absurd though.

I much rather compare him to Moore and the fact he has gotten MORE separation when he was used. I really dont base my theory on his catches at all. He has great hands and once he dose have the ball he catches it. Comparing him to Moose though is really not good cause Moose is done as a WR as well. Both him a Jarrett are good over the middle but on Post or comebacks they just dont have what it takes. As someone said... 5th WR yea there great but dont expect ether one to be a #2 WR.

He doesn't need separation that much, he's as tall as the damn goal posts. :o

    • Damn Logan Jones had a good day too. Was high on him coming in as he anchored that top Iowa line and is a fire plug inside. He's gonna be 25 to start the season so maybe he slips into the 4th but I doubt it, even if C isn't a premium position. His play on the field was top notch and the combine boosted it again. Arm length is about the only knock. But guy is plug and play at C.   This is a loaded class at C. Need to grab one.
    • Bryce will be permanently replaced by a draft pick. There's not another Sam Darnold out there to save us. Tepper is going to see this throw because he dumped Mayfield and Darnold too soon. He's going to give it 1 more year before he will sign off on dumping another 1st round pick qb. Thats the cold hard truth of it. It doesn't mean we can't get younger and much better at the backup position.
    • Maybe I should have used a different word and saved that for me. I want someone that has something impressive about them.  Someone that has potential to supplant a guy who is producing 25th best type of numbers. 22nd, 27th all that bottom third neighborhood.  I don’t know where that will come from it just can’t be from even a 4th round pick this year IMO. Unless FA is crazy productive.    I’ll give Bryce a better than bottom rating for his playoff game. Well above low twenties. But at least half of his games were bottom third level. Probably 2/3 to 3/4 of them were.
