Go ahead and bash me. He had a horrible stint with the Lions---like every other HC of Lions of the past several years. And I am probably just a prisoner of the moment. But the Eagles offense is outstanding. and so was San Fransisco's from 97-2000. Hes been assistant HC/ OC for the Eagles since 2003, and he will get another chance as Head Coach. I wouldn't mind bringing him. Let bashing begin........

Judging by the Brown thread, you're probably right. Oh wait, is this thread sarcastic, too? It's so hard to tell over the Interweb.

I know a lot of people want to see us go after some great offensive genius, but I want to see the Panthers get back to being a defensive force. I would love someone like Leslie Frazier here or, since we're talking about the Eagles, Sean McDermott.

did you not think that the other thread was outlandish when you read it? I mean it seem outrageous when I posted it. I figured people would catch on, guess not, anyway-- I don't think this is that far fetched. i want a good D too, but i want offense too. Just throwing a name out that looks good now.

    • When we have everyone playing like they should, we can win the Cup. That has been the biggest problem when we get to the playoffs, but this year seems to be fixed mostly. We could have had multiple if we had done this in the past.
    • Here we go Bryce Stan’s you should love this. Hell it may be one of you.  It has every cliche excuse and then some.  Unintentionally hilarious my limit was reached when he said Bryce had it hard because four play callers.
    • Luke goes in to the specifics of what he looked to accomplish in joint practices.  Basically they may work with someone on the opposing team to stress something they feel is a weakness in their own game in a different way that can be done with someone they are familiar with. That they can have predetermined stresses but since neither wants to get injured and it has absolutely no bearing on anything there is not the level of concern that would be in a preseason game.  He would also even chat with opposing OC.   It seems like an interesting nuance among the vets and savy pros.
