Bobcats playing pretty uninspiring basketball right about now, the refs continue to amamze with their ticky-tack fouls compared to the Bobcats literally getting hack-sawed in the paint by whoever, Larry Brown continues to disappoint me with his rotations that consistently throws the line-up out of balance ie: Flip Murray at the point, Stephen Graham at the 4 :facepalm.

but were only down by 10 I can only pray we catch up...as I type Boozer ppimps Tyson for an easy slam..

Stephen Jackson sucks too. I really wish we'd let somebody who shoots 40% or better take the 18 field goals he's taking per game. We'd probably win some.

Dude, Jackson was 7-16 , not exactly bad. 18 points, 2 blocks, 4 steals, 3 assists, 4 rebounds............. he's not the problem.

Our starting PF and C combined 10 points, 8 rebounds IS a problem.

I would define his game last night as "ok", but for a guy that is a black hole out there where the ball goes in and never comes out he's going to have to shoot 43-45 percent to justify that amount of faith in his shooting. He did that last night, but on most nights he does not. Nobody in the Top 30 scorers in the league, and he's in that group, shoots at a worse percentage than he does. And of those 30, only Rudy Gay and Gilbert Arenas are worse from the free throw line this year.

Of the 21 players slated to make 300 FG this year from the SG position, Stephen Jackson is 19th out of 21 guys in the league in terms of shooting percentage. Behind only Vince Carter and Salmons from Chicago. I actually remember people complaining last year and the year before about how many shots Felton missed and he shot better in those two years than Jackson has for us this year yet people are still all over his nuts.

If we were going to bring in a guy who was going to chuck up twenty shots a game and hit at less than 40%, we should have just signed Iverson. He would have been cheaper.

I still like Jackson as a long defender. If the Bobcats had legit scorers at other positions, I'm pretty sure Coach Brown would start to get on Jackson about his shot selection. Right now though, we have 3 guys in our starting lineup who aren't consistent at anything really and they disappear a lot of nights. Think this team was near the bottom of the NBA in scoring last year and is probably near the bottom this year. Then aside from the failures of Chandler, Diaw and Felton, Wallace has a terrible jumpshot. He's getting better and he's getting a lot better from three point rage (was around 14% now close to 30%) but he mainly is only a threat in the post and as a slasher.

This team is too easy to play defense against. Felton and Jackson making difficult shots is about the only way this team can get baskets when a good defensive team is keeping us out of the paint. Ball movement works sometimes, but we turn the ball over a lot.
