after his performance last nite its safe to say that jake will remain the backup moving forward. now that we have a legit QB the management can concentrate on acquiring another quality wide receiver to take some of the pressure off steve smith. this team is starting to come together, i cant wait for next season!

GO PANTHERS!

wow ur jumping the gun im not about to sell the farm for moore just this moment. he has earn his spot as the starter thats all.

after watching jake all year be poo i am willing to sell the farm..moore will only get better with more experience and time. i feel he is our future going into next season as the starter. steve smith had his best game of the season last nite. it was only the 2nd time all season that smitty went for more than 100 yards..give moore a chance, noone knew who tom brady was til drew bledsoe went down.things happen for a reason..he got his shot because jake got injured..and now we all see his talent and potential..

i'm looking forward to next season with a legit QB!

For everyone on here that thinks/wants/prays that Matt Moore is the future...be cautious.

You have to remember that one of the reasons that Delhomme started sucking is because he could never adapt to the defense. Defenses knew exactly what he was going to do every time. Right now defenses aren't familiar with Moore b/c they haven't had any film to go by when studying him.

At the very least...we need to draft a QB like Mallett, McCoy, or The Golden Calf of Bristol to come in and compete with Moore. If Moore turns out to be "the future" then great...I hope he is a pro bowler. But it doesn't change the fact that you can't go into next season pegging him as the starter.

Moore showed alot last night. I'm still not sold on him being the answer at QB. He still needs some development and more consistency, but he deserves the chance and coaching to do so.

He seemed to get better as the game went on, but there were a number of throws that sailed on him, were thrown behind the reciver ect. His mobility and pocket pressence were impressive.

Mallet = Tard, The Golden Calf of Bristol = Weak arm/slow delivery, McCoy = Maybe. I am starting to think there are no franchise QBs in this draft.

    • Like a lot of things in today's economy, market concentration is a huge issue in the vet space. Mars (yeah, the chocolate company) owns roughly half of them with their control of Banfield and VCA as well as numerous smaller chains. Oh, and all that Royal Canon food the vets are prescribing and recommending? Yeah, that's owned by Mars too. Don't even get me started on the racket that is "prescription" dog food and how incredibly uneducated the average vet is on basic pet nutrition. Back to the actual clinics... private equity ghouls who care about literally nothing but profit own another 30%. Now you're down to roughly 20-25% of clinics that aren't under the thumb of Mars or private equity.
    • I just listened to Devil in the Desert.  😳
    • like any profession, a lot of them are very greedy and balloon up bills.  My buddy is a vet.   When he was first starting out he had BIG issues with the vet he was employed with because he was expected to drive up bills.    He now owns his own practice driven by that very reason.  Good man that wants to sleep good at night....doing what he set out to do at a young age (with the same reason in mind, to help animals and people).  But per him, a HUGE % of small animal vets are just gouging the f out of people.  like most things, I want the most mom and pop variety I can find.  The bigger practice, like most businesses, it more likely is owned and operated to make as much money as possible at the end of the day.
