I wouldn't say he doesn't care. He wants a 2000 yd season and the HOF. He is a HOF talent but I just don't know how he could get in. If he makes 2000yds next season then it's possible because that means he would have a triple crown and 2k to his credit which is ridiculously impressive.

If it comes down to this season as to whether or not he ever gets into the HOF.. the catch that prevented him from getting his due 1000 should be asterisked and pointed out how freaking badass you have to be to break your arm, pretty much fall on your arm, get picked up by players on your team by that arm, and then have the guts to tell the giants to suck it and then walk off the field on your own to get looked at.
