Again... As of now, pending his resigning and no other big names being cut, Matt Moore will enter TC in 2010 as the starting QB for the Panthers...

If Fox doesn't let Jake compete for the starting Job and has him as #3 or #4 QB OR just flat out cuts Jake, he will gain a little bit more respect from me. However, his and Hurney's latest comments don't leave me feeling secure enough to say that he will definately do that.

He's also lost alot of trust from me in the areas of poor game planning and poor game management and poor play calling. Theres just so many flaws he would have to fix in order for me to trust him again.

The other 13 games didn't really happen....But what happens if the Saint's mop the field with us this week do we forget these 2 games .

The way the Panthers are playing, the Saints don't have a chance. They're gonna finish with three straight losses.

I don't understand why everybody is so upset anyway, since Fox almost always follows a mediocre season with a winning season. Personally, I'm just happy that they're keeping this defense in tact, because they're just now learning how to play it the right way. I don't want to see Meeks go anywhere.

As I said Last night. JR has put all the pressure on Fox and Co. to produce next season. And not just a winning season or a Superbowl appearance, But a Superbowl win! That's what I would do, anyways... So this will be a do whatever we can to win season (assuming Fox wants to be here after this ultimatum) and talking to Jake to renegotiate his contract or just retire has to be apart of the equation. That's what I would do anyways....:P

Just look at it as this, is all I am asking:

We go into next season, a possible down year for any player movement at all, pending the new CBA...

One happens, great... Business as usual...

One doesn't, hmm... okay... Well at least we don't have to worry about that AND a possible staff overhaul...

We need to be more focused on things like extending folks like DeAngelo and Pep, resigning Thomas Davis, and keeping the core elements of our football team, the players, happy and intact enough to get through next season without much change...

Davis has said he wants to come back... Peppers would love to stay here now...

It's better to stay in the safety of the lifeboat rather than jump out and swim for shore...

I agree with you 100%. I just don't know why you think Peppers is on cloud 9 in Charlotte all of a sudden?
