me too... i'm guessing Vincent's injury must have been really bad to put him on IR knowing that otherwise, he could probably sit out a few weeks and come back later... that really sucks

I don't think Vincent injury might have been that bad. I think the team just knew he wasn't going to recover in time and they desperately needed that roster spot.

The bye week is more important than people would think with how our O-line came out of that game. I'm glad we got it because now it gives them enough time for them to recover. Otah being taken out because of a toe injury probably tells you that it was just precautionary.

i dunno... he's been really integral to our running game and has been very good in pass protection as well. i guess groins are a slow heal injury, ie: hartwig a couple years ago...

I meant the injury itself might not have been bad, not his absence. I'm definitely not going to take anything away from the guy. He was a very important part of our O-line and I wish we still had him.

i gotcha man! i knew what you were saying. i'm just wondering if it wasn't that bad and he's been so important then why couldn't they just wait for him to heal. i guess the healing process for the groin is really protracted or it was worse than originally reported.

This was the same injury that knocked him out for about a year before he came to us so I guess they didnt want to risk another surgery so they IRed him.
