Any man that can take a team Dan Snyder owns to the playoffs twice and actually win a game is coach of the century. He would be better than Cowher. Gibbs would have won a superbowl with Neil O'donnel.

But Fox should be under Chuck Noll he is the one who brought him into the NFL.

this stuff is meaningless. Where he's listed, whether he's created enough assistants who have gone on to success within eight years.

A few coaches, some of the greatest, have coaching trees. I really don't think this has any meaning to his actual ability.

Belechicks coaching tree isnt exactly great either. Im dont think that makes him a bad coach. I think this is a pretty meaningless discusion

well, Belichick has spawned a number of head coaches and coordinators. But yeah, most of them suck.

It's really pretty remarkable to put up a level of success that Bill Walsh has bred. If anyone has the definitive "next Bill Walsh" I'm happy to hear who that is.
