Drew Brees will not play tomorrow

right, so it's a coincidence that our secondary dominated bad qbs but then struggled with the same caliber of QBs when our two CBs were out. got it.

jenkins gets beat literally every second of the game so you probably haven't really watched the saints all that much if you really believe they won't make a difference.

What he is saying is that your secondary sucks no matter what. Pretty simple concept, really.

same calibre? what the hell?

henne is a fine QB. Matt Ryan isn't as great as people say, but he's no Mark Sanchez. Marc Bulger is decent when he's healthy (lol!) and that game probably had a lot more to do with Steven Jackson having his way with them. Romo is playing out of his mind, Jason Campbell is nowhere near as bad as one would think (and I've been saying that for months here), and Josh Freeman looks like he might be legit. I mean I'd say he's better than any of the QBs the Saints beat in the first month.

ahhh yes the "you don't watch the team enough" defense.

henne was 18 of 36 for 2 INTs

matt ryan was 19/42 with 3 INTs

they sure destroyed us.

no, those are examples of 'fine qbs' not doing jack sh*t vs. our defense with it's two starting CBs healthy.

The secondary only started to struggle once they both went out vs. STL.

what i said was, we owned the bad/young QBs that you love to talk about, sanchez, edwards, stafford, kolb with Greer/Porter but struggled against the same caliber with Redman, Freeman, Bulger, Campbell when our CBs were out.

teams have good games. i didn't say a thing about ryan being good, just that he's better than sanchez.

weren't both of those henne interceptions absolute fluke crap? like bouncing off ted ginn's hands fluke crap?

You going to sit here and tell us that you don't care about winning this game at all? You talking about dome field advantage and all that type of crap. Well, with that lost against the lowly Bucs, which your team blew a 17 point lead against, The Superdome ain't quite looking like "Dome" field advantage. LOL and with the Saints 42 year history, they have a winning record against 1 team and that was against the Bucs and yet you still couldn't even beat them.

So you are saying you are OK going into the playoffs with a 3-game losing streak? Well, expect the Saints all time playoff record to improve to 2-7

how is this relavent

It's relevant because the one team you had a All-Time winning record against, a team that most of us thought you should have won, including Saints fans, you all drop the ball AT Home. IF you can't handle the Bucs, what makes me think that your defense will show up in the playoffs?

Point Blank, I believe your players need to play.

LOL for not responding to my whole post.

you didn't say anything that hadn't been said. you're basically a white noise poster as fiz would say.

I was really wondering if you didn't care to go in the playoffs with a 3-game losing streak?

I'm asking because if the Panthers was 13-0 and lost two straight games, most of the huddlers here will be screaming for Fox to play our starters in the final week of the season.

    • Malcom Spence is the best player remaining, hope he’s there.
    • The era that you played in, and, more importantly, who you played with actually matters. Honestly, that's why these issues will be debated forever, as it's just difficult to say that this person or that person is better when you're discussing the passage of time. As for me, after Rice, Moss and maybe Megatron and T.O., there's probably a dozen or so guys that can be argued about to the cows come home. Personally, I'm not putting Fitz, Harrison, Johnson, Evans, or especially D-Hop, Jefferson, Chase or Hill definitely in front of Smitty (and Colston ain't even in the discussion). Context and all that stuff actually matters. Things like the triple crown matter.
    • Some of those guys? Yeah honestly you can.  I would 100% take Steve Smith over Larry Fitzgerald, Harrison, even Mike Evans. He is 100% a better player than those guys in his prime. If you look at the numbers Smith is historically under targeted in comparison to his contemporaries. He was only targeted 150 times or more only once in his career. Fitzgerald for example was targeted well above that 9 different seasons. Had Smith played with Peyton, Brady, Greatest Show on Turf, or even with Warner in Arizona he would broken records. His 2008 season was ridiculous accumulating 1400 yards in 13 games on less than 80 receptions. All time he also lost a season due to injury in 04, barely played WR as a rookie. Got robbed of 1k season with Clausen. Thats easily another 1800yds minimum that should have been tacked on to his #s. The only guys I’d say for certain are better than Smith are Rice, Moss, TO, Megatron, Julio Jones, Antonio Brown.
