You guys seriously think Matt Moore is the MVP of our season? He is the main reason we started winning at the end? I think you guys would be very surprised at how long it takes to get unhappy with him next season. Lack of deep ball, just above average accurracy, slightly more mobil, very little experience, lobs more passes than he should... Lets be honest, we have way over-hyped him becuase we are Carolina Panther fans who are desperate for a QB. Period. Matt Moore is not the answer in Carolina. In Jakes prime, Jake is far better than Matt Moore will be. But Jake is past his prime and Matt Moore happens to be better today. Matt Moore is no franchise QB. And all the hype WILL lead to disappointment next season. Lets stop living in dreamland and be honest about this for a second.

:lol: Why are so so upset with this? Beason had a great season so did Peppers but you have to admit. Was 4-7 before Moore took over and finished 8-8. Granted Moore didnt do it on his own but he did change the attitude of the team and they went 4-1 with him as qb.

You're giving Moore too much credit. Couldn't the improvement also coincide with other positions deciding to buckle down for the inexperienced kid? 15 of Jake's 18 ints came while hurried. Matt suddenly seems to have all day in the pocket. The O line decided to step up? Smitty admits to at least one wrong read that resulted in a Jake int. but nothing remotely resembling that (Dallas) happened after Matt took over. Then there was luck (beginners?). How many of Jake's ints were tipped, one even kicked up into the air increasing the possibility of ints? I like Matt going forward but MVP? Total nuts.

Not that I necessarily agree with Moore being mvp, but here is my case for him.

The other positions buckled down well before Matt took over. The defense took a while to get its run defense intact, but irt keeping the other team from scoring, they have been playing well since the Dallas game. The running game took a few games to get going, but once it did, it has been spectacular. But even with those improvements, we were still losing because of the interceptions. Moore comes in, the int's stop, and all of a sudden we are winning. Moore was QB for half of our wins, even though he only started 5 games and against the toughest part of our schedule.

If you could only resign one of the following players, who would it be

1.Steve Smith

2.D-Will

3.Jon Beason

4.J-Stew

5. Jordan Gross

6. Ryan Kalil

7. MATT MOORE

who would you resign? Anyone with brains picks one of the top six... so how is the bottom one MVP?!?!?!?!?!? I dont understand the logic here. We would keep our most valuable out of that group right? Than explain how thats Matt Moore?

I'm kidding, but half serious

The player that has the most impact on the record based off their performance gets MVP. Most of the time, it will be the QB if they're performing well. Unless you have a player thats is totally dominant like say a Polamulu then vote would go there. We haven't had a player like that on our defense flying all over getting turnovers

No other players you listed has had a bigger impact than Matt on our record. He came in unexpected and lead domination towards teams everybody thought we would lose to

That is called picking the BEST PLAYER AVAILABLE, not picking the MOST VALUABLE PLAYER!!!

      100%. And these same people will claim you have an agenda. You can't have it every way. We had the lowest rated defense in the league last year. Statistically the worst ever. By PFF grades (for whatever that's worth- but they are readily accepted, used, and conveyed by most "reputable" sources), the defense was the worst ever. Not only that, PFF rated our receiving corp the worst in football last season. The absolute worst... out of 32 teams. Which is why regardless of the lip service Canales and Morgan paid to the current guys, they knew it would be criminal not to give Bryce more help. People fixating on team stats and not taking these things into context are stupid, plain and simple, and I'm for one thankful they're not running this team (or probably anything for that matter bc they obviously can't discern reality. Again, going back to the eyeball test these Narrative Nancies seem to hate so much, did they not see the windows Bryce was putting balls into? Have the generally not watched much NFL? Please, please show me the film where all these NFL QBs are making throws like this to this point Bryce was "below average" down the stretch compared to them. Bryce made more wow throws in that 3 game stretch of the Bucs, Chiefs, and Eagles than every other QB combined in all the years since since Cam got hurt I genuinely am baffled by people that can watch throws like that and act like it's nothing. I guarantee you Steve Spagnola, Todd Bowles, and and Vic Fangio didn't think it was nothing after watching the little guy torch them with players those teams would be embarrassed to trot out at the skill position players. The national media spent all year making excuses for Mahomes not having elite weapons when he had multiple 1st & 2nd round talents at the skill positions along with future HoFers in Kelce and Hopkins. Bryce wasn't throwing for 300 yards every week with David Moore and Adam Theilen in spite of jaw dropping throws and you want to say the guy played below average. For those people, again, we ain't watching the same sport. And the name calling doesn't change that... The vitriol and projection... it's off the effing charts with these people.
