Which would you pick?

I have seen a few speculating that John Fox may be the problem for Peppers and that he is waiting for Fox to be gone to sign an extension (or some version of this). Well if that is the case, I have a 2 hypothetical scenarios for you guys to think about. I wanna see how much you believe or hate Pep, John Fox and the rest of the staff.

Scenario 1. John Fox stays and signs a 4 year extension worth 30 million dollars. And Peppers is traded away for a 1st that is somewhere in the middle of the 1st round.

or

Scenario 2. John Fox leaves immediately, but you dont get YOUR personal coach of choice. And Peppers signs a 6 year 83 million dollar contract, with about 40 million guaranteed.

I normally hate these hypotheticals, but I was thinking on this and it was hard for me to make a decision.

What say you Panther fans?

If that's truly the case...imagine how good Pep could be if playing for someone he liked and respected! I would keep Pep and let Mr. Mediocrity walk!

    • Seven North Carolina players have entered the transfer portal or announced their intentions to enter so far today: Derek Dixon (6.5 PPG) Jonathan Powell (4.8 PPG) Kyan Evans (4.0 PPG) Zayden High (3.4 PPG) Isaiah Denis (1.9 PPG) Jaydon Young (1.8 PPG) James Brown (1.2 PPG)
    • As long as we have DB, odd man fronts are the way to go for us. We want to line DB up between the guard and tackle (4i-tech) because of how quick he is off the snap and his punch on the guard off the snap. If anyone is wondering why he pretty much has to be doubled (or combo blocked) just about every snap, its because he is lined up in that spot in our odd man front. If we change to an even front, it becomes a lot harder to have DB play the 4i-tech.  Not sure if I would say Evero likes smaller NTs - I wouldn't call Bobby Brown a small NT by any sense. I think we run a 1-tech NT, so they are usually getting double teamed (or combo blocked) by concept alone. I actually think Bobby Brown did a pretty good job of eating blocks and being positionally sound on most runs at him (not his fault we were rocking ass LBs last year + Wharton being god awful). The bigger problem came on the toss plays/outside runs where DB wasn't able to blow it up in the backfield (i.e., the Bills game). Lloyd should help with the run D and getting a rangy LB in the draft will definitely help. There are also some good 1-tech DTs (and 0-techs) that can be instant day 1 starters for us in the draft.
    • Thanks for bringing receipts. I appreciate the facts, but they are a stark contrast to what we see on the ice, but maybe, as I've said before, his "aw sh!t" moments just seem to weigh heavier than his "attaboy" moments.
