Although I would like to see the black endzones, I agree with Kurb...if it ain't broke don't fix it. And I believe they will wear the black jerseys...our game is at night.

Isn't it the NFC's turn to be the home team this year? All the jersey talk got me to thinking....I think it is 2003 was an odd year and we were the visitors...

we will never see a panthers logo on the 50 yard line. richardson is a traditionalist and has the upmost respect for the nfl. the NFL shield will always remain on the 50 yard line.

I would bet that the endzones will be painted black for the playoff game. If you think about it, the Meineke Bowl was exactly 14 days after the last home game, but the midfield logo and Panthers head were still visible. The NFCDG will be two weeks after the bowl game. Therefore, it is very reasonable to think that the painting from the bowl game will still be visible, especially the fully painted endzones.

Think back to 2003. The endzones were painted for the playoff game because they had been painted for the bowl game. Granted there wasn't a two-week delay that year (I don't think). However, the point remains. The paint from the bowl game will still be visible, and I believe the endzones will be black.

One thing I also saw from the bowl game was that the field was CRAP. Slippery, tore up, etc. Good thing it's warm right now, they need to get it looking as best as it can for the big game.

Thats because of the temperature and only being allowed to wear them so many times.
