Wii Modding

Anyone know anything about this? I dont really use my Wii online, so I doubt you can get in trouble for having a modded Wii. Is this legit, or worth it?

Saw this add on Craigslist.

Hello Charleston,

I am sure you have recently bought a Wii and your playing the sweet nintendo games. However there are some capabilities of the Wii that are locked out - the ability to run "cheapware" and homebrew on the .Wii

For Nintendo Wii to be modded:

- If you drive to us : 30$ to mod the Wii

- If we drive to you: 30$ to mod the Wii +3$ for every 15 mi i have to drive to you

* After we mod your wii / you already have your wii modded, ask us about the "cheapware" you can get for your wii.

* These extra addons are at a low bargainable price

Buddy at work does this...probably saves a ton in games. Some games come out and have problems but he's gotten around it.

I don't dare do it because it's the kids' Wii and screwing something up like that would not be good. Plus I'm too cheap to buy a replacement if it's killed.

it's easy you can do it yourself. if you have legend of zelda theres a soft mod called the twilight hack. download it put it on a sd card load the save file and it puts the homebrew channel on the wii. you can do alot with it modded. theres a mod so you can use a external hard drive to rip and play games on the wii and when you play games off the external hard drive it makes the game run faster.

    • well, players dictating things only works if you have the right collection of players to dictate things.  and in all honesty, not sure if we can answer if we do or don't as fans given......there are no Thomas Davis types around that we know are actually about X and Y (based on years showing it).  Collective team is too new to us to know what these dudes are really about in terms of players carrying the burden of culture.
    • Moore can be put in one of the vet spots on IR. No one will be checking for him at the start of the season. But I would be very perturbed if we tried to go all Gettlemagic and stash an obvious talent like Horn on practice squad like we did Butker. If we can get through this year, next year it will be obvious Moore and AT will be gone, starting namely with AT's contract.
    • Culture change comes from the top down, not from drafting a 3 and no D guard. I doubt Lamelo is gonna take his cues from this 20yr old kid lol. If Brandon Miller couldn’t change the culture with how good he is and how much he hustles on both ends, Kon Knueppel sure as hell ain’t changing it. Ace Bailey by all accounts is also a great teammate and hard worker, btw, who was drafted by a team he supposedly didn’t want to go to yet he immediately bought in. And he’s got actual length and tools on both ends of the floor. I feel this pick is going to age like milk rather quickly.
