I know how panther fans felt last year

You guys are about where the Bolts were in 04, young talented team that needs to get their postseason stripes. Things seem to be in place for you to be in the convo in the NFC, with some OL help and eventual retooling your defensive backfield.

And remember from the Favre years, even he had his Dallas bugaboo.

You have arguably one of the best quarterbacks in the league. Not only that, but he has one of the better WR tandems in the league to work with in Jennings/Driver and a solid TE. Defense is amazing(don't know what the hell happened against Cardinals, like a whole different from regular season.) but could use an upgraded CB to go alongside Woodson.

GB's draft should consist of O-Line, some secondary help, more o-line, maybe a HB.. oh, and MORE O-LINE. Rodgers is pretty much constantly under pressure, it's nothing short of amazing that his int count is so low.

Man I've never seen someone with a quarterback as good as Rodgers be so depressed about their teams future. If I could choose one player in the league to build a franchise around, it'd be Rodgers bar none. Guy showed up, brought his team back from a 21pt deficit in THE POST SEASON to tie it up. He got put in a pressure filled situation, and responded perfectly.

He's good but always chokes in the clutch. Last years panther game comes to mind. He lost it for us that day too. Our defense is horrible against good quarterbacks. We will only beat the mediocre teams but not any teams above .500

When he had 3TDs and 1INT, 64.4 cmp %, and 96.3 QB rate? He lost that game for you?

hey man, your team at least was in the game till the end...your team overcame a 17 point deficit and bad/no calls from the refs. honestly if it hadn't been for that bad no-call at the end, the pack would probably have won. @ least you can be proud of your teams performance......unlike us last year, where it felt like getting punched in the mouth repeatedly....and asking for more.

That was a tough loss. It might be years before we win a playoff game. I think if the Panthers got in right now they would be the most dangerous team in it. Now I know how you felt last year when the Cardinals beat you guys like they beat us.

Yeah but at least you guys showed up in that game. Last year...we didn't even put on our cleats, mainly for 1 obvious reason but I'll refrain. I was pullin' for Pack too. I think Rodgers has a lot of Favre's better QB attributes. Good for Woodson too. You guys can look forward to some success at least. Cheers

That was a great strip by Dansby not a screwup by Rodgers in my eyes. I don't think Rodgers gave that game away at all. I think it is all about perspective and your team came back from a 21 point deficit and brought the house down. You could see Kurt Warner sitting on the sidelines with a worried look on his face every time Aaron Rodgers was on the field. It could have EASILY gone the other way and been a Packers win. It was the best game all weekend hands down and I was totally bored by all the blowouts in the other games. At least the Packers came to play and did not quit. I think you have a bright future to look forward to.

I was actually hoping to see a Favre (Vikings) - Packers NFC title game but it didn't pan out this time. The Cards were hot as hell in the playoffs last year and it looks like they have found a way to light it up again. I hope to see the Cards knock the Saints out this week.....just cause. :)

I think its the football Gods paying you back for the asinine treatment of Favre...

McCarthy and Thompson are getting what they deserved... Favre is a DIVA- but no one tells you you haver to quit your job when you are at the top because your thinking about retiring....

Ignorance at its finest.

As for any posts dedicated to Rodgers "choking"....do any of you for one second think that modern day Favre would have been able to lead his team back from a deficit the way Rodgers did with that offensive line and crumbling defense around him? Rodgers had to play at near perfection to even have a chance to get his team back in the game with all the TDs that the Cardinals were scoring. If that was Favre out there, we probably see him force throws into coverage for a couple of INTs and then after the game he shrugs his shoulders, plays the "aw shucks, I was just throwing the pigskin around" routine and no one blames him for a blowout loss (they blame the team around him).
