Never thought I would hear "Panther running back" and "league leader in touchdowns" in the same sentence. Still pinching myself actually. Nobody saw D-Will having the season he had. Hell, he didn't even make the pro bowl because he came on in the second half of the year.

Never knew they closed the voting so early. Seems ridiculous not to have the league leader in TD's voted in doesn't it?

Yeah, this year has really turned me off to the Pro Bowl more than ever. Stats should definitely be involved in the decision making process. I knew something would be diff about DWill this year cuz in TC he started to get all yolked. On TV sunday one of the announcers (can't remember who) said Vinnie pulled DWill aside last year and was like "dude, if you wanna be a pro-bowler or All Pro in the NFL, you gotta get into shape and be a workout machine." Thanks Vin we all appreciate that. I totally believe it too because last year Smitty said Vinnie was Unbelievable in the weight room... even at 40.

    • Completely agreed.  TBH, we have had so many great players that are in my favorite list, and I hate to narrow it down to one, but Cam is it.  Which is crazy, because you would think it would be more of the guys I grew up watching, but no.  Cam was the single most impactful player to ever out on a football uniform imo.  And like I said in an earlier post, I always felt a kinship with him in a lot of ways…  the way he was treated and judged for the off the field stuff in Florida and having to overcome all of that and fight show at back.  And although I am not a black man, I have always been welcomed by and accepted more by minorities, and thus, I know what it’s like to be judged by appearances rather than the content of your character and who you actually are.  I know what it’s like to be stereotyped and written off or mistreated for your mistakes.  I know what it’s like to be held to a different standard while your peers don’t have to meet that same standard.  So I always related to that.  And the way he came in and just electrified the whole franchise, man…  I still think about it often how much it sucks that because of how talented he was, our staff out so much on him and that ultimately cut his career short.  You’re right, there will never be another Cam…  I think Josh Allen is the closest thing we will see for a long time, but Allen is not the running threat Cam was.  Cam could run you over or around you.  That was THE absolute funnest time to watch our team ever.
    • It definitely needs more specificity than is baked in now.
    • The weirdest encounter I had with a pro athlete was waiting in line at security at Mile High Stadium when I used to get the company suite tickets almost every week because I was the only employee based in Colorado. There's a small checkpoint accessing the suites that virtually no one knows about that you can usually squirt right through. I was standing there and looked over my shoulder and there stands John fuging Elway waiting in line behind me.  This was during the The Golden Calf of Bristol season right before he became GM. I just said "They make YOU go through security?" He's like "Yeah, ain't that a bitch. I literally have a statue out front and I gotta go through security like everybody else." I've heard mixed things about him but he was super nice and down to earth with me that day.
