That was pretty great, wasn't it?

As far as your comment about seeing a scan of his brain, he's taken some shots over his career, but you would see a lot more damage in your average offensive linemen. You see a scan of a lineman's brain and it's all dark spots, or Tau; basically non-functioning brain tissue. They get helmet to helmet contact on almost every play. Even though those hits are a fraction of one of the big shots Brett may take, it's the cumulative damage of all those little hits that really fuggs up players later. For example, you're also more likely to get a concussion by receiving three or four little hits to the head than one monster hit.

no sh it? Seriously, it is worse to get a bunch of little concussions than one big one? No wonder why Westbrook is so scared now.

oh come on they're were only like two cheap shots. He got beat cleanly too.

There were more then just two. They hit him late on almost every play. If it was our team we would have been screaming bloody murder.

The fact is if you looked at any DEs legs after a game they prob would look the same with them taking cut blocks as much as they do. Thats why I think they also should not be allowed.

Also I really dont see how you protect them from that. There is just so much padding you can put in helmets to absorb impact.
