Please trade Boris Diaw

I blame Boris Diaw for the loss to the Lakers. 23min 0 Pnts, 4 Reb, 5 Ast, That's not even good enough for bench play. Yes he has had some good games but they have been once in a blue moon. I want him gone but I don't see him even having trade value because of his inconsistent play. Plus 9mill for his salary doesn't help either. Anyone know of any trade possibilities?

Overpaid YES.... Bad player NO.... Starter NO.... Trade him HELL NO....

Diaw isnt playing up to his potential but there is no way I am trading a player that can stretch the floor and play 3 different postions. There are only a few players that can do that so I would rather have him on my team.

Diaw's performance was a hot mess last night, but I don't blame the loss on him. Please remember he went in there last year and put up 23 points on them. No Wallace, turnovers and bad shot selection and we still managed to only lose by 2 pts, not bad. Personally I think Jackson attempts too many 3's.

It's never one guy, plenty of blame to go around last night.

I think LB went with DJ too long and should have put Raymond in when Farmer started going off on DJ. That when the game started too slip away from us. DJ can't defend anybody right now and is a lability when he on the court and not making his shot. We might need too look and trade him because Acie Law can produce equal and play better defence then DJ. If we could get a trade for a Carlos B or Ronnie Turiaf or Andre Blatcyh and bring Diaw off the bench that would be a good spot for this team too be in.

I'd trade him for a 2nd round draft pick and give the spot to Derrick Brown. Brown can shoot the three and he can affect shots down low. He's also a more athletic player who will help in the fast break.

Whatever though. When Lopez rapes Diaw again and we lose our second game to the Nets, I'm sure he'll be gone within the month.

    • No, the casual fan gets sucked into THIS^^^ kind of thinking, and it's so woefully incorrect that it's almost sad. The first is what I've said numerous times, NOTHING about non guaranteed contracts save the billionaire owners a single penny, because they still have to spend their cap floor, and the only reason teams ever don't spend the full limit, is to then roll it over into the next season to be able to spend more that year. But in the end, owners pay the same amount of money no matter what. The reverse is also the same, that the players in totality make the same amount of money as well, because in your example of Clowney not getting that money this year, it will go to another player, as the cap needs to be spent. And you say how we just cut Clowney after we gave him the 2 year contract, but everyone including Clowney's agent and himself, knew when it was signed, that it was more likely to be a 1 year contract than a 2 with how it was structured.  The 2nd year was just to be able to spread out the cap hit and he was always most likely going to end up getting traded or cut. It's why agents and players don't care about the total money in a contract, it's always and only been about the guaranteed money, as the years and overall value are meaningless, always have been, always will be.
    • Agents will have their 1st round picks hold out until the pay structure of their contract is to their liking, not how much money they'll get or even how much is guaranteed, just the when/how they will get the money over the course of the contract. If they're willing to recommend those players hold our, do you really think they won't do it for 2nd rounders to guarantee them an extra 10% of their entire rookie contract?
