wow I cant believe it... that win was embarassing.... we 'should' have won by a bigger margin.

the problem with us is that we have too many play makers and not enough shooters. we also dont have enough blue collar players. Every olympic team has guys with tallent and the way to take away tallent is to hit them. we need to start playing hard hitting canadian hockey.

So much for Canada's potential problems stemming from the Sharks choking.

I was kind of rooting for the Swiss just because Hiller was playing lights out, but also kind of rooting for Canada, because if Canada lost last night, we'd probably get obliterated on Sunday.

Should be a good one though. Let's hope USA can get through 60 minutes of hockey without any major defensive hiccups.

For the record I think the Czech's will upset everyone.

People enjoy making too much of that to begin with. Losing a 6 game series to tough divisional rivals isn't so crazy. Everyone knew ANA was the worst possible match up for SJ last year.

Great Day for Hockey!! especially for the casual fans as myself... Russia vs CR was a great match... getting ready for us vs canada... then the night cap with swed vs fin.... The Olympic Committee did a good job with the scheduling

With Sweden's win USA is now the number 1 seed.... Canada will have to face russia in the quarters if they win.... US is in a good position, but they can't take any of these teams lightly...
